About the FORMULA B Eighty Master V2

The Formula B Eighty Master V2 is an update on the OG Eighty Master.

While still focused on the same fire-breathing Marshall JCM800 sounds, it ditches the original's onboard three-way compression for a slimmer footprint and independent Gain controls for each of the two footswitchable channels.

For this reason, depending on your use case you may find the original Eighty Master a slightly better proposition. If you're really committed to those JCM800 tones, you could even use both versions of the Eighty Master in a four-channel setup!

    Eighty Master V2 Controls

The Eighty Master V2 is an all-in-one preamp, featuring 3-band EQ, presence ("Modeling") control, two Gain controls on mini pots, and a Volume control.

The left footswitch switches between Channel 1 (the "50W" mode on the original) and Channel 2 ("100W" mode), which access the independent Gain settings, while the right footswitch activates and deactivates the pedal.

    Headroom

You can run the Eighty Master at either the standard 9V, or use an 18V supply for even more headroom.
