Walrus Audio was founded in Oklahoma in 2011 by Brady Smith, who had previously worked at Keeley Electronics and went on to found Old Blood Noise Endeavors in 2014. When Brady left, Colt Westbrook and Jason Stulce arrived to run Walrus Audio, bringing all design in-house for the first time.
Walrus Audio has made a name for itself by building guitar pedals with innovative features and awesome graphics, and is among the most recognisable of boutique pedal companies today.
Walrus Audio pedals can be found on the pedalboards of many pro guitarists including David Ryan Harris (John Mayer, Dave Mathews Band, Santana), James Valentine (Maroon 5), Phil X (Bon Jovi) and Danielle and Alana Haim (Haim).
